It is important to me that no matter the size of the job that it is done well and the finishing is perfect. Being a bit of a perfectionist I do take my time and always make sure I leave a fitting better than I found it. This was a small bathroom that needed a new toilet fitted and plumbed as well as an overall paint job.
This new bathroom was a recent addition to my work page. Starting out as a small shower addition and ending up as a full bathroom fitting.
Painting and decorating can be challenging but rewarding. Decorating this living area and fitting the flooring was a particular pleasure for me as the choice of style really worked well within the room. I think I am lucky enough to also have a good sense of style and design so can help with final choices when called upon.
Sometimes it’s just the shower itself that breaks down and needs replacing. I can advise, source and fit your new shower replacement with no problem. Like this new shower, I fitted last week.
After fitting the new toilet my client was keen on having a sink within the same room. With little space to work with I suggested a corner sink could probably work. This small handy sink was well received and easy to work around with the final painting touches.
Some jobs turn out larger than they start out. The removal of this old toilet, bath & sink suite turned into a complete bathroom overhaul with additional pipe laying, new plastering, and then fitting, tiling and decorating. However, once you get going the end result is worth it. If a job is worth doing in my book its worth doing properly. This particular bathroom was a pleasure and my client was very happy with the end result.
Not everybody likes painting and cutting in around exposed beams and different sized rooms can be a challenge. One I tend to enjoy. This painted bedroom was part of a mixture of smaller jobs I did for one of my regular, local customers.
“Angie is just what we need for all those jobs around the house. Professional, friendly and a perfectionist! We’ll be using her lots and her rates are really reasonable too. ”

As a plumber, I am often asked to replace old showers not up to scratch. These two examples were the two ends of the spectrum. One a simple like for like new fitting sourced and fitted successfully. The other a whole walk-in shower fitting plumbing, tilting and decorating.
Sometimes its just a dripping tap driving you crazy or a new tap would look so much better. Fitting this one dual hot and cold tap was a recent combined job for a regular client.
Sometimes it’s just old for new. It’s rare that you can fit the new into the old spot. But in this case, there was no additional plumbing required. Straight swap in and as good as new.
Those of us with dogs know how guilty you feel as you get the hose out and spray down your beloved pooch with freezing cold mains water. That’s why it was an absolute pleasure when my customer asked me to fit a hot and cold tap to their outside garden for the obligatory dog wash. Lucky pooches live here.
I have used Angie for a variety of jobs since moving into my new house, she fixed a hose to the garden wall for my puppies. She is always reliable, tidy and comes highly recommend.”

A new sink and some new tiles can really clean up and brighten a tired washroom.
Re plumbing and fitting this bathroom was a small job but it was the tiling that proved to be a particular challenge. The tiling was required to be full height so there was quite a lot of mathematics and cutting involved. As you can see though, the end results was a pleasure.
